Straight-forward and gruff voiced on the recording, but newly smooth and silky, David Moss is a man engulfed in the great tradition of Texas singer-songwriters. Living in Austin, TX for the past 5 years, he moved to NYC at the beginning of 2012 to attempt to freeze to death.   He began writing songs in 2008 after touring around the country playing cello with his trio The Blue Hit, and has been playing in and around Austin for the past year and was named a 2011 Kerrville Folk Festival Newfolk winner.
